The Fall of 1982 was when my mom and me moved to another house after my dad had been killed in a wreck, she got Cable TV and HBO/Cinemax with the hope that all the variety of movies would help cover up the loss of my dad, it helped ALOT, throughout the 80s the TV practically raised me, I learned to read by reading the Cable Guide, I can never figure why there was much more variety back then than there is today, Cable/Satellite plays the same movies at least 4 times a day, your getting less now

were the effects that made the hbo feature movie title appear made by the same company that did the opening credits for the superman movies?
